Great deal on the Morley FX Blender Expression Pedal

Great deal on the Morley FX Blender Expression PedalThis morning I found another interesting deal to talk about. It’s the Morley FX Blender Expression Pedal. It’s basically a volume pedal that controls the return in a effects loop. This could give your options for blending effect to your signal. Pull delay in and out. Pull phase in and out, etc. This pedal lists for $189, and is usually available in the $107 range, but is currently on sale for only $57.23 at Amazon. That’s a pretty significant savings (70% off list price). This pedal also is available with FREE super saver shipping.

Here is the official description of the Morley FXB Optical Outboard Variable FX Loop Expression Pedal:

The FX Blender, a development from Morley’s Custom Shop, allows you to blend your full effects chain with the pure signal from your guitar. Simply plug your guitar in, connect the Blender’s Send to your guitar’s effects chain. Then connect the effects chain to the Blender’s Return, and the out to your amp or mixing board. A send level knob lets you control how hot a signal you send to your effects chain.

Working much like a volume pedal, heel full down you have a clean guitar signal, heel full up your signal is completely saturated with your effects. Adjust any mix in between smoothly and with complete control.

The FX Blender is made in the U.S.A., with a cold-rolled steel chassis. Powered by a single 9V battery or the optional Morley 9V adapter.

I found this video by MorleyPedals:

If this Morley FX Blender Expression Pedal is something that you’re looking, be sure to pick it up at this price. Again, it’s currently available for $57.23 at Amazon. Limited stock for this, so if you want it, you’ll need to jump on it.

MXR Noise Clamp

MXR M195 Noise ClampToday I was bouncing around YouTube, and came across a cool video on the MXR Noise Clamp. This is a great pedal to manage noisy pedals or high gain pedals that cause squeal when you’re not playing. Basically, it’s a noise gate effects loop. I’m liking this idea.

Here is the official description of the MXR Noise Clamp:

Love to crank up those pedals? Love to crank up multiple pedals? Then you know how critical this pedal is in your chain. The MXR Noise Clamp pedal puts the kibosh on hiss and noise from your signal chain. It includes its own effects loop, which effectively lets you kill noise across your entire signal chain. A single Trigger knob lets you set the threshold at which the Noise Clamp activates, and a green LED lets you know when the gate is active. Sounding great is about more than great tone; use the Noise Clamp and keep your rig sounding great between the notes too.

Below is the video by jimdunlopusa on the MXR Noise Clamp:

Right now at Amazon.com there is a great deal on the MXR Noise Clamp. The MXR Noise Clamp is available for $79.99, but this is a bundle deal which comes with two free Strukture 6″ patch cables!

Pigtronix Keymaster

Pigtronix's KeymasterOne of these years, I need to make it down to NAMM, I think it would be super fun. This year’s summer NAMM featured a new pedal that will be coming out in the Fall of 2010 called the Keymaster by Pigtronix. In a nutshell, it’s a dual true bypass effects loop in a pedal. It’s pretty cool with the ability to handle multiple inputs (XLRs, balanced, unbalanced, etc). Where I think it really stands out is the ability to run the effects in series or parallel. In parallel, they’re running at the same time, but you can fade into each other or blend. Pretty cool.

Here is a video that Blake from What’s The Dude Play posted featuring Dave Koltai introducing the Keymaster. “It’s the Keymaster.. it get’s anything done”. Billy Mays would be proud. You can read Blake’s post here.
