’tis the season for killer deals and sales. Everything starts off with Thanksgiving.. then Black Friday.. then Cyber Monday. The Friday after Thanksgiving has traditionally been the busiest shopping day for X-Mas and the stores have been more than happy to offer some nice deals. Over the last few years, the largest online day to buy (because people got super pissed at being in stores) is the following Monday. That’s how ‘Cyber Monday’ came to be. Personally, I don’t care too much about all of that, but what I do care about, is getting a good deal on gear for myself and/or friends. I just received an email from T-Rex Effects announcing a new pedal that will be exclusively available at Guitar Center on August 1st, 2011 called the Yellow Drive. Below is the official press release:

August 1st, 2011 – T-Rex Engineering, the Danish guitar effects pedal manufacturer, in partnership with Guitar Center’s Director of Merchandise, Barry Mitchell, has developed a new line of pedals which will be available exclusively at Guitar Center stores and online at www.guitarcenter.com. The four exclusive pedals will be introduced in Q3 2011, beginning with the Yellow Drive distortion pedal in August.
