BassEFX and Darkglass Electronics Microtubes B3K Give Away – Reminder

BassEFX and Darkglass Electronics Microtubes B3K Give Away - ReminderHello All, I wanted to post a quick reminder that that BassEFX and Darkglass Electronics Microtubes B3K give away is still happening. The response has been tremendous and rightly so! The Darkglass Electronics Microtubes B3K has some serious buzz on the interwebs, and the hype is definitely matching expectations. This is a fantastic distortion pedal for bassists that provide a lot of tonal options without getting complicated.

This give away is sponsored by BassEFX, which is a site that provides a lot of pedal related gear to bassists. Chad Beeler started this a while back and offers a fantastic service for bass players around the globe. Not sure about what pedal is right for you and your bass rig? Shoot him an email. He’s got a ton of advice and he’ll steer you in the right direction. The give away is also sponsored by the fine folks at Darkglass Electronics in Finland who are taking things to a new level for bass effects.

Some great players are playing the B3K: Troy Sanders (Mastodon), Justin Meldal-Johnsen (NiN), Tony Levin to mention a few. For more information about artists using Darkglass Electronic products, click here.

To enter the BassEFX and Darkglass Electronics Microtubes B3K Give Away, simply click here and follow the instructions there. The give away will be closed on Oct. 11, so be sure to enter before it’s too late. Also, please help spread the word to other bass players out there!!

I also wanted to include a couple of demo videos of the B3K as well, and found a couple of good ones.

This first video is by Nick Nardone, and he does a fantastic job going into detail. He describes all the functionality of the pedal and plays with a pick and fingers:

Next we have basstheworldbyvideo who goes through various settings while playing the same riff. This is all finger style playing.

As you can see/hear, this is a great pedal – so don’t forget to enter, and please help spread the word!
