Way Huge Angry Troll Give Away!

Way Huge Angry Troll Give Away on EffectsBay

CONTEST IS CLOSED

A little while ago, Dunlop USA sent over a Way Huge Angry Troll for us to do a demo/review. We shot the review, and I’ll be posting it soon, but the good news for you, is that I’m giving away this pedal!

Way Huge is a well known name in the world of guitar effects – from the Swollen Pickle to the Aqua Puss, etc, Dunlop has done a great job reviving this legendary line of pedals. Dunlop is also develops their own line (Crybaby, etc) and also has the great MXR line of pedals.

This give away is featuring the Way Huge Angry Troll linear boost amplifier. Here is the official description of this pedal:

The mighty Angry Troll serves up gorgeous portions of volume and gain to pummel the input of your amp. It adds bite and punch while transforming your anemic and mild mannered tone into a beastly sonic onslaught!

The Angry Troll’s two controls interact like a vintage mic pre amp. The Anger knob—a rotary switch with six Fists of Fury positions—adjusts the amount of gain created by the Troll’s op-amp, while the Volume knob regulates the overall output level. High grade components are used for a precisely tuned circuit that works like an extension of your amp.

Please take a moment and check out Dunlop’s site. They have a great blog, and I absolutely love watching DunlopTV. Great stuff!

So how do you get in on the action and potentially win yourself a FREE Way Huge Angry Troll pedal? First, be sure to follow EffectsBay on Twitter and/or Facebook to keep up to date with this give-away along with new give-aways.

Second, fill out the form below, in two weeks  (August 16th) I’ll randomly pick 3 entries as finalists. I’ll email the 3 finalists and the first one out of the 3 that emails me back will be the winner. You must enter a ‘valid’ email address, bounce back emails will be rejected. One entry per person (seriously people.. one entry per person). After the winner has been notified and all is good (I’ve retrieved mailing address, etc), I’ll mail off the pedal.

This give away is open to everyone!

Remember to also re-tweet this post and help spread the word! If we continue to have success with these give-aways, I’ll be able to offer more and more… and we all love free stuff right?

The question: “Who is your favorite guitarist.. and why?”

yngwie is as expressive as shouting the phonebook as fast as you can. a better word for expressionism the way you used it is expression. its shorter, means wha tyou intended, and doesnt make you sound stupid. 🙂

David Gilmour. Amazing phrasing in his leads, amazing experimental work, and a beautiful restraint in his textural work.

Mark Knopfler, watching him play his guitar could fool you into thinking that man and instrument are one. He’s so immersed while playing……..

Did someone say Jimmy Page? Jeff Beck? Old Clapton was cool. But the material Jimmy composed and the scope of his range, just astounding. None of the above ever had a Kashmir. The Jazz guy is cool, I like that tech as well.

For modern era I’ll go w Satriani or Vai anyday. Even my wife was grooving on some of Joe’s latest tracks, Black Swan’s & Wormhole Wizzards is just a tremedous work and a tone monster. It’s not your grand dad’s E335 but Joe is a master class composer and player.

OK Gilmour, my apologies, he was a major influence on me. Breath, Dark Side, still holds the test of time ans still gets air play.
