Pedal Line Friday – 9/1 – Tim Wendland

Today’s Pedal Line Friday submission is from Tim Wendland . If you have a pedal line (doesn’t have to be in a board) for your rig, please email me a photo, bio, description of pedals and routing to pedalline@nulleffectsbay.com. Every Friday I’ll showcase a pedal line submission. Make sure you include any links to your band or music page.

Guitar –> Dunlop Mini CryBaby –> TC Electronic PolyTune3 w/Bonafide Buffer –> Voodoo Lab PX-8 Plus Loop Switcher [MXR Phase 95 –> 3Leaf Audio Proton Envelope Filter –> FoxRox Octron3 –> Keeley Tessa MKIII Fuzz –> Ethos Overdrive –> Keeley Compressor Plus –> Boss CE-2w Chorus –> Source Audio Nemesis Delay] –> Fender Custom Deluxe Reverb Amp

It’s a killer rig. Very modern gear, but very classic analog tone.

The Ethos OD is magical. It’s the magic ingredient. The compressor comes after Fuzz and OD to keep things from getting a bit too rowdy and also pump some bigger input into the chorus (almost like the input gain circuit on the original CE-1).

Best,
Tim
