FREQBOX – Square Tides Give Away!

Alright, I wanted to have the first give away of 2013 to be something special. The best part of having this blog is running into builders making interesting things, and being able to shine a little spot light on them. As a guitarist it’s nice to break away from the pack with some gear that not a lot of people know about. Starting conversations like “Hey, what’s that pedal?”

People are making great pedals around the world and FREQBOX is one of those builders. FREQBOX is located in Athens, Greece (one of my “bucket list” places to visit for sure). They were kind enough to send over their FREQBOX Square Tides pedal to offer to a lucky EffectsBay.com reader.

The Square Tides is an analog octave (lower octave range) with a square wave fuzz. There is also a analog low pass filter and is capable of doing some gnarly synth wah tones. There is an expression jack input that will control the low pass filter (LPF). The controls are – volume for clean signal, fuzz, octave/resonance/low pass filter cut. This pedal does come with a 12V AC power supply as well. The unit is true bypass. This pedal sells for $265 on their website, so this is a great give away for sure.
