One musician I seem to cross internet paths with is Josh Newton. Josh is a bass player in a few bands – With Knives, The Damned Things, Shiner (guitar player), etc and we both share an interest in aluminum neck instruments – ie: Travis Bean and Electrical Guitar Company! Josh also runs a great blog called GearNerd, that if you haven’t checked out is worth following. Just recently, I came across a great interview of Josh Newton on Shep On Bass. Shep who is a fantastic bassist and has a very interesting blog – and who also deserves a pedal board breakdown himself! If you’re a bass player, this blog is definitely worth a follow!
Shep recently posted a very interesting and thorough interview with Josh Newton. You can read the full interview here – “Interview: Josh Newton“. On that interview there is a recent photo of Josh’s pedal board and wanted to showcase that here today:
Here is a breakdown of pedals:
TC Electronic Polytune Mini Tuner
Digitech Whammy (4th gen)
Earthquaker Devices Disaster Transport Jr.
Earthquaker Devices Rainbow Machine
