Electro-Harmonix Bass BLOGGER Distortion Overdrive pedal

Electro-Harmonix XO Bass Blogger Distortion Effects Pedal Today I found a cool pedal for the bass players out there. It’s the Electro-Harmonix Bass Blogger distortion overdrive pedal. I often get asked about good OD/distortion pedals for bass. I often recommend the Bass Big Muff Pi, but this unit seems to be another good option.

Here is the official description:

The Electro-Hamonix Bass Blogger’s ultra-subtle distortion creates the perfect dialog with your drummer. Dial in your ideal fuzz with the effect pedal’s no-fuss, three-knob design and fuzz/drive selector switch. Dry/effect outputs.

Electro-Harmonix XO Bass Blogger Distortion Effects Pedal Features:

* Volume, tone, drive controls
* Fuzz/drive toggle
* Dry out
* Effect out

I found this good video demo by GuitarGearComMx

You can pick up the Electro-Harmonix Bass Blogger Distortion/Overdrive for $74.10 at Musician’s Friend.

    Buying this one was totally worth it. I am believer of trying new things. Contrary to common belief that bass guitars dont need distortion pedals, I believe in changing the monotonous habit and sound and adding a bit more color. Off course you need to play well, thats priority but a little color wont hurt. I have tried this BLOGGER Distortion pedal and I simply loved it and I recommend it as well.
