Today’s Pedal Line Friday submission is from Scott Brown. If you have a pedal line (doesn’t have to be in a board) for your rig, please email me a photo, bio, description of pedals and routing to pedalline@nulleffectsbay.com. Every Friday I’ll showcase a pedal line submission. Make sure you include any links to your band or music page.

It’s a simple setup but it covers all of the basic tones I need to get. My band is a modern jazz influenced group that incorporates lots of live looping and ambient pads so the looper and flashback X4 get the most use. The Pure Sky has become my go to drive pedal since it can give a little bit of grit but still remains clarity. The other two drive pedals are set for varying levels of gain (the Dry Martini gets subbed out for a Blackstar LT Dual Distortion occasionally if I want more variety/available gain). My guitar is a 7 string PRS SE Custom 24 which I run into an original 1968 Fender Bandmaster with one or two Garnet 15 inch speaker cabinets.
