Stupid Deal on the MXR CSP-001X Variphase

Stupid Deal on the MXR VariphaseToday, there is a stupid deal at Musician’s Friend for an awesome MXR Custom Shop pedal, the MXR CSP-001X Variphase! MXR put the classic phase 90 into a cry baby wah enclosure, allowing you to control the speed of the phase with your foot on the fly. You still have the ability to control mix and volume controls. Additionaly, on the inside of the pedal, there is a toggle switch to allow you to select ‘block’ or ‘script’ logo phasing. Block is modern and the Script has a subtler, softer phase sound.

Check out this quick demo video on the MXR CSP-001X Variphase:

The deal is great today, the MXR CSP-001X Variphase lists for $257.13, and is normally available for $199.99, but is currently on sale via Musician’s Friend Stupid Deal of the Day for only $79.99, which is a 60% savings! Also, the pedal comes with FREE shipping. No brainer.

If you own the MXR CSP-001X Variphase, please comment below and let us know what you think of the pedal!

I jumped on this deal when I read this. It just came in today. I had to come back to this post to read about it, because it came without instructions.

So far, I really like this pedal. Being able to adjust the effect on the fly in totally cool. Just makes it easier to have more control over your effects, and in turn, makes them more user friendly. Move over Boss PH-2, gotta make room on the board for the new phaser on the block!
