Today’s pedal line is from Eric Logeman. If you have a pedal line (doesn’t have to be in a board) for your rig, please email me a photo, bio, description of pedals and routing to pedalline@nulleffectsbay.com. Every Friday I’ll showcase a pedal line submission. Make sure you include any links to your band or music page.
Here’s a shot of my current pedal line:
TC Electronic Polytune Noir > EQD Ghost Echo > Smallsound/Bigsound F*ck > EHX Superego > Fairfield Circuitry Operator > TC Ditto Loop: Fuzzhugger Algal Bloom > EQD Dispatch Master Operator Loop: VPJR > Fuzzhugger AB-Synth XS > Fairfield Randy’s Revenge > Fuzzhugger Lab Ratchet > TC Flachback Amp: Fender Excelsior
I play both my Gretsch G5129 and Grendel Drone Commander through this chain, but mostly just alone. If I’m jamming with other people I tend to bring a much simpler setup.
It’s definitely not usual and is a little all over the place but I love this setup. I can bring a massive amount of fuzz, modulation, and delay in with the Operator, and then I can hit the feedback switch to make some ridiculous noise. It actually works as an instrument by itself with all of the oscillatory noise I can get from the AB-Synth, Operator, or Superego.
I strongly recommend people get behind small builders like Fuzzhugger and Smallsound/Bigsound. They make some of my favourite pedals!
Eric
