When I posted Joey Harley’s Pedal Line Friday yesterday, I wanted to know more about the Dunlop JD-4S Rotovibe expression pedal. I figured it would be worth a post since I wasn’t too familiar ( I personally don’t use any trem stuff) with the Rotovibe, and see it all over the place. While searching for a video demo, I stumbled across the video posted below. Not sure if I’m cranky, or if I have some type of phobia/complex, two things I hate to see with pedal demos.. 1) bare feet and 2) sandals. I don’t know why that is.
But first, let’s get to the meat of the pedal:
The Dunlop JD-4S Rotovibe Expression Pedal is an electronic rotating speaker simulator allowing you to re-create the background sounds popularized by many artists, including Jimi Hendrix. Enhancements include a redesigned, quiet switching system utilizing highly reliable hardware for extended life.
