Results to yesterday’s Community Questions: What effects would you like to own/play before you kick the bucket?

EffectsBay Community Question - What effects would you like to own/play before you kick the bucketI’ve been seeing a lot of “bucket list” type posts on Facebook lately… maybe I’m just spending too much time there lately, but I thought I’d ask a “bucket list” question for the site. Yesterday I asked “What effects would you like to own/play before you kick the bucket”. I was surprised that there weren’t too many replies to the question, but when you think about it… effects probably fall pretty low on the priority list when we’re talking about bucket lists. I mean really.. any effect could be a  realistic purchase in the big picture. If you have anything to add to the question, please do so by commenting below. Thanks for everyone that participated, here were the responses:

On Twitter (@EffectsBay)

@niksuela @effectsbay I would love to try a Klon Centaur and an Ethos Overdrive.
@dantemilo @effectsbay I’d like to try one of the original roger mayer octavio’s that hendrix and a few people used. That’s kinda what started it all
@axeslinger13 @effectsbay …JUST THE ABSOLUTE BARE NECESSATY MINIMUM TO GET THE DESIRED TONE.WAH,OVERDRIVE/BOOSTR,DELAY ,AND IF REQUIRED,REVERB…PERFECT
@ghosteffects @effectsbay original 1965 Tone Bender mk1
@jomarbassman @effectsbay Chunk Systems Octavius Squeezer.
@GaryStauffer @effectsbay Would like to live long enough to play “all” of them @ least once, then I can let you know in about 100 yrs which ones
@BenzPearl @effectsbay I guess an EHX Soul Preacher would be appropriate… Just saying…
@KevinPino @effectsbay line 6 dl4
@AntonWO @effectsbay I would like to at least own Lovetone Meatball, Lovetone Ringstinger and a Schumann PLL someday^^

how can you pick nowadays? everything is so cool, and outside of the basic commercial store stuff, very well made. I would like an all 70’s era vintage board, but I can only imagine the noise. Honestly…at 54….I have what I’m gonna have…some nice, not too expensive things. what I use most is this 18watt Marshall simulator pedal, my Earthquaker Devices & Lovepedal stuff. And in this economy….a bucket list? Jobs.
Joshua Dawson anything by squarewave parade, Hexe Revolver, Death By Audio Robot, and the new Electrofaustus quad oscillator, which I’m going to buy next time I have the money. Also, I wouldn’t mind some of the noisier Dwarfcraft fuzz pedal
Kevin Ian Mid-fi, Death by Audio, more Devi Ever, Solidgold Fx Electroman, Moody Mushroom Echo, still looking for a plethora of delays and reverbs as well.
Mark van Vranken Fuzz factory, wiggle worm, pog, nano pog, eventually my talkbox design.
T.J. Harris Whammy IV, all the Moog pedals, Chicago Iron Parachute Wah, a tube Echoplex, POG2, Earthquaker Devices Hummingbird, Throbak Strange Master, Empress Phaser, Roland Jet Phaser, HBE Frost Bite Flanger, Fender Reverb Tank, Rotovibe, Empress Superdelay, EHX Flanger Hoax, ZVex Fuzz Factory . . . I better start writing some hit songs if I’m going to make this happen .
Mick Blowe Still haven’t got the Subdecay Proteus, but i will before too long…before i kick, presumably.
Dean Tompkins Maybe some early stuff…like what Jimmy Page probably has laying around in his storage
