I didn’t know quite to expect on this give away. It was a short run (about half as long as normal) to get an extra give away in December. I was super surprised by the amount of entries for the TONEbUTCHeR WeeWah. People were definitely into this pedal. But I only had one to give away. Yesterday was the final day to enter the Flickinger Tone Boxes Angry Sparrow give away. I said it in the past, but hated giving this pedal away. It’s an absolutely great sounding fuzz and I can picture this on my board for sure. This was another absolutely great give away as far as entries, so I would like to thank everyone that entered. On top of that, it was great to read the bands/distances people traveled. Some where crazy extreme, and others were fortunate to only have to travel a few miles to see a show.

For me, in April of 2011, I drove from Missoula to Portland, OR to see Foals (distance of 548 miles one way). I’ve driven to Seattle a couple of times to see shows (475 miles one way). Last year I went to Chicago, Il to see a show, but it was somewhat work related, so I’m not sure I can count that. If so, that would be 1589 miles one way. Sometimes it sucks to be in Montana, but that’s the trade off. Fortunately, I’ve seen many amazing shows in Missoula, so it’s not always a road trip.

I also need to send a special thank you to Richard Flickinger of Flickinger Tone Boxes for generously sending the pedal my way and giving it up for the give away. Richard if you’re reading this – Thank you! If you have a chance, please check out Flickinger Tone Boxes they make some great sounding effects, and worth a close look.
