Sunday morning coffee and nerd-surfing led me to the Pigtronix PolySaturator Distortion. I was corresponding with the winner of the Trumpet Fuzz, and we started talking about some Pigtronix pedals so I definitely have it on the brain lately. I’ve see the PolySaturator on a few boards, but wanted to take a closer look this morning.

I found another great video by gearmanndude demo’ing this pedal. Seems like the pedal definitely has wide range of tones, and has the ability to compress or get “flappy”.

I think I’m getting ‘delayed’ out, so I want to look at some distortion and/or overdrive pedals this week. I wanted to find something interesting and something did catch my eye this morning. It is the Pigtronix PolySaturator Distortion pedal. I think Pigtronix puts out some great stuff. I recently talked about the Pigtronix PHI Echolution delay/modulation pedal.

The PolySaturator pedal seems quite diverse in the tones you can achieve with it. It has a nice clean boost sound, you can get a nice overdrive sound, has a nice gain sound as well as getting heavy mid scoop dirt.
