Home 2017 January Pedalboard for Emmett Miller of Diarrhea Planet

Pedalboard for Emmett Miller of Diarrhea Planet

Last year Diarrhea Planet played my home town. This is another one of those shows that I missed, because I wasn’t familiar with the band, but later checked them out on the YouTubes – and then kick myself for not going.

When was the last time you saw a band with 4 guitars? I always say more guitars the better! Well, not really, it can be insanely challenging. This band has worked out the dynamics and can manage 4 guitars no problem with interesting and thickly textured riffage. Definitely check these guys out.

Yesterday on Twitter, I saw @DiarrheaPlanet post a photo of a very nice pedalboard and I thought I would post it today on the site. This pedalboard is for Emmett Miller.

Check out another great KEXP live performance. I love KEXP shows! Diarrhea Planet laying down the awesome!

I can’t say I care for the name. I came across all sorts in San Francisco during the punk rock days, but this doesn’t begin to measure up to what I saw then…
