Some Theory with Jesse Tabish of Other Lives

A long time ago, I saw a tweet by @WalrusAudio talking about an Oklahoma band (recently moved to Portland) called Other Lives. I checked them out… and man, I was hooked. First song I listened to was For 12 and was blown away. At that time, they were opening up for Radiohead, which in my opinion, is a perfect fit.

I’ve had a chance to see them once in my hometown, which was amazing to see them in small venue. The other day though, I stumbled across this video where Jesse Tabish (the lead singer of Other Lives) goes into great detail on how he composes songs. This video has NOTHING to do with pedals, but man, I thought it was very interesting. I love learning about the ‘process’. Thought you guys might like it as well.
