Today’s pedal line is from Jay Hale. If you have a pedal line (doesn’t have to be in a board) for your rig, please email me a photo, bio, description of pedals and routing to pedalline@nulleffectsbay.com. Every Friday I’ll showcase a pedal line submission. Make sure you include any links to your band or music page.
Hey!
Here’s my set-up: Only the Boss TU-2, MXR Mircro Amp and Vox Wah are running in front of the amp (my Mesa MK III)’s input to maintain signal integrity; from the FX send the signal goes to the MXR EVH Phase 90 (set to ‘script’ mode with the speed knob almost at ‘0’ for VH-flavored lead tones) then to the Line 6 MM-4 and Line 6 DL4 and back. My stock presets on the MM-4 are Chorus, Flanger (the old-school grey MXR emulation), plus the Univibe and optical trem emulations. For the DL-4 I’ve got an Echoplex and digital delay as well as a reverse delay preset. The other two pedals are switchers for the Mark III, but I’m considering replacing them both with a single custom-made VoodooMan MK III switcher soon.
Glad you like! 🙂
