So there has definitely been a lot of talk about Van Halen these days. New album. New tour. Back in the day (we’re talking 8th grade or so) I was a HUGE Van Halen fan (probably like a few of you). I remember making calls about picking up a Kramer guitar. This was WAY before I even held a guitar in my hands for the first time. So I guess, the reason I play guitar today is because of Eddie? Maybe.
I was bummed reading about Eddie’s behavior from Sammy on the last tour (I can’t remember if it was the last tour or not) and seeing some of the few clips where Eddie definitely wasn’t Eddie of old. I really hope for 2012 things are better for him. Yesterday, I saw that Lava Cables posted a photo of Eddie Van Halen’s pedal board from the recent gig at Cafe Wah (which I believe is the first show of their tour on Jan 5th).
Here is the photo that was posted and the breakdown of Eddie Van Halen’s pedals:
Here is the breakdown of pedals

I concur with the above post. It does look exactly like the pedal for my EVH III amp. Best amp ever, imo.

Thanks for posting this! When “Women & Children First” came out, I was blown away! I think that is one of the best heavy rock albums to come out in the 80s. I still crank that one up to 11 today! It’s good to see Diamond Dave back with the band. Much success to them in 2012!!!

Can one of you please help me with the dimensions of the EVH 4-button channel switcher?
I just ordered an EVH5150 head and want to start rethinking my pedal board.

3 other custom boxes are buffer interfaces sending a strong signal straight to his amps with the long pedalboard snake. His G-Lab gives power to each pedal effect which is connected to it’s buffer with the 117V AC blue plug in. His amp 4 channel pedal, and his custom-made 6 loop pedal are plugged into the main buffer. The DDLS and Cathedral are also connected to it. His Wah is connected to the 6 loop pedal switcher, and looks like his custom Mute box (bottom right) is connected to the smallest custom-box where the main buffer interface is…my guess lol
