I've been using their stuff for ages and I've not had any trouble with build quality when gigging. Maybe I'm not heavy footed. I know its a youtube vid so the sound isn't gonna be accurate and a proper test would need them recorded in studio conditions but for on the road its a no brainer for me, the difference in price is massive for the difference in tone. Danelectro's site says the Cool Cat is true bypass, and made of metal. I like Fulltone and trust Gearmanndude's observation on the build quality.
