For the money, what's not to like about the dano?
I've been using their stuff for ages and I've not had any trouble with build quality when gigging. Maybe I'm not heavy footed.
I know its a youtube vid so the sound isn't gonna be accurate and a proper test would need them recorded in studio conditions but for on the road its a no brainer for me, the difference in price is massive for the difference in tone. Dano 1 - Ocd 0

Close enough for government work. Danelectro's site says the Cool Cat is true bypass, and made of metal.

I like Fulltone and trust Gearmanndude's observation on the build quality. But if you're using a bypass strip, the build quality isn't as much of a concern anymore.
