Andrew, I have a buffer at the end of my chain, it is the Axess Electronics BS2. It is a high quality active buffer with adjustable clean output gain. I like the option of having a buffer at the front of the board as well, because it influences the tones I can get out of certain pedals when it is on or off.
Take it easy, Jimmy.

Hey bro try putting the TU2 at the end of your chain without a TB loop. Having a buffer at the end of a chain is an amazing tone clarifier (without it you're effectively doubling your length of cable and losing a lot of tone). But don't take MY word for it, ask Pete Cornish! 8) just give it a try real quick and see if you like it. (also having a buffer at the beginning is good too)
