I have two blues drivers and I put one before my wah and one after… Works for me. Best of both worlds.

This was an interesting dicussion. I’ve always put my wah after the distortion….but, I had no idea that Hendrix put his before. The only reason I was researching this is I’ve got a unique situation using plugins in which an amp plug has a built in cabinet and room simulator. This dosn’t have an effects loop. There would be no other way to get a wah between the amp output and the cabinet. We’ve come a long long way since Hendrix’s day….so in this instance I’m gonna go before the distortion and see what I get.

Personally I can NOT have my wah AFTER my drive boxes. The tone sucking drives me nuts. Colors the sound unbelievably. Hate it. Not to bad mouth it tho, Im sure it works for some people, just absolutely not for me
