Pedal Line Friday – 11/13 – Mojo’s Army

Today’s pedal line is from Mojo‘s Army (@mojosarmy). If you have a pedal line (doesn’t have to be in a board) for your rig, please email me a photo, bio, description of pedals and routing to pedalline@nulleffectsbay.com . Every Friday I’ll showcase a pedal line submission. Make sure you include any links to your band or music page.

Here’s a pic I have of my ‘straight’ setup. I also have an ART Tube MP I use as a DI, a PE Waves tuner when I’m not using the Zoom G2, and when I play bass I use Behringer EQ and UltraMetal pedals.

The Zoom, which doesn’t have bypass, is switched in & out with the Big Shot. The DigiTech Grunge is before the modded Big Muff so I can mix them for a really gnarly sound + have the Muff smooth out some of that digital crunch. I modded the Russian Muff to add a hardware bypass switch, 9V DC in and swapped the IN/OUT jacks to be on the ‘correct’ sides. The DI600P is for ground lift. The Ibanez Weeping Demon, awesome Wah pedal with EQ, tone, shelf settings and the option to kick on or do auto-on. Screamer.

Mojo’s Army is a currently one-man band out of San Francisco bay area, playing whiskey-fueled old school hard rock with a modern twist, along the lines of Judas Priest, Rob Zombie, and Nine Inch Nails. Only been around for a couple of years but released the debut album “It’s Hard” on iTunes over the summer. Thanks!

The color coded sticker markers for settings on the Big Muff is a great idea! Why have I never thought of that?
