It was the first real effect that I purchased after my wah (which I think is a bit of a standard). Since then, effects have become a huge part of my life. I've begun working as a bass effect sepcialist at an effects pedal company called Source Audio (www.sourceaudio.net) which makes some realll mind bending stuff.
