I bought a Korg and played with it for about a year. I wanted to create some music for a website that I was working on. Now it just sits in my closet. All I ever used it for was creating quick loops

I'll agree that reproducing your settings is difficult if you go through more than 3 presets, but I fully disagree about using it live for delay-purposes. If you use the tap-tempo in tandem with a Line6 Expression pedal, it will allow you to morph between sounds on the fly using only yer feet. There are better loopers out there, but at the time this thing came out it was a really long loop, though now, not so much.

@Ohmytodd - Yeah, I agree, it's tough for on the fly changes live. I pretty much use the 3 presets and ride with that.. for now.

The DL4 is amazing - all my music is based on loops created with the looper on the DL4. So easy to get amazing weird hawkwind sounds on it. Loads more DL4 info on my site.

Likewise, good write up. I owned a DL4 in the past but found that it was far to complicated for live use, particularly if a lot of on the fly modification to sounds was required. As a studio tool it's great, but given its size and complexity I find myself better off using a Boss DD-7 with an external tap tempo pedal for live situations.

Good write-up. I love this pedal as well, but also have had a hard time programming it (or at least recreating favorites sounds).
